Day 1 (Thu): Depart Canada
Your journey begins with your transpacific flight from a Canadian gateway of your choice. Crossing the International Date Line, you will lose one calendar day.
Day 2 (Fri): Arrival in Bangkok
Meet your driver upon arrival for a private transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Your guide will contact you in the evening.
Day 3 (Sat): Bangkok (B/L/D)
Bangkok, located in the Chao Phraya River delta, is Thailand’s vibrant capital and cultural heart.
Today’s highlights include the Grand Palace (established 1782), the National Museum, Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) and a long-tail boat cruise along the Chao Phraya River and Thonburi canals.
If time permits, we will also visit Wat Pho and Bangkok’s historic Chinatown. There will be a chance to observe and photograph traditional riverside homes and temples.
Day 4 (Sun): Ayutthaya Excursion (B/L)
After breakfast, we travel approximately 90 km north to Ayutthaya, the former capital of Siam. Founded in 1350 and destroyed in 1767, the ruins are preserved within Ayutthaya Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The towering stupas and monastery remains provide insight into the city’s former splendour.
